WARSAW, KY (FOX19) - Agents of the Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force, working with deputies from the Gallatin County Sheriff's Department, have charged four individuals in connection with a meth lab discovered near Warsaw, Ky.

Drug enforcement agents approached a vehicle driven by Jason Webb, 35, of Warsaw, at a truck stop near I-71 in Gallatin County Tuesday morning.  Inside the vehicle agents discovered methamphetamine and several ingredients used to manufacture meth.

Kristian Hall, 29, of Dublin, Ohio and Heather Smith, 24, of Cincinnati were in Webb's vehicle.  Agents and Gallatin County Sheriff's Deputies also found a meth lab in a wooded area near Webb's home in the Crystal Lake subdivision near Warsaw.

Agents later arrested Clayton Walker, 47, of Cincinnati, Ohio and charged him with Trafficking in Methamphetamine in connection with the investigation.

Investigators believe that Webb was responsible for manufacturing the meth, and Hall and Smith were "smurfs", a term drug agents use for individuals who visit multiple pharmacies purchasing quantities of cold medicine containing pseudoephedrine.

Webb, Hall, and Smith were arrested for Manufacturing Methamphetamine and were lodged in the Carroll County Detention Center.  If convicted, each faces up to twenty years in prison.  Walker was lodged in the Kenton County Detention Center on the trafficking charge.  He faces multiple counts of Trafficking in Methamphetamine with a maximum sentence of ten years in prison per count.
