High bond for mask-wearing suspected serial robber

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A man accused of six robberies in the Tri-State was in court Thursday morning,

Bond for Conrad Zdzierak was set at $3 million.

Zdzierak was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Springdale after police served a warrant at the Extended Stay hotel on Glensprings Drive.

Zdzierak is charged with six counts of aggravated robbery for six robberies across the Tri-State. Five of those robberies occurred in one day.

He's accused of the March 5 robbery of a Chaco Bank in Forest Park and the April 9 robberies of the Key Bank in Springfield Township, the Fifth Third Bank in Woodlawn, The Key Bank and CVS Pharmacy in Springdale, and the Franklin Savings Bank in Forest Park.

According to court documents, police found evidence linking Zdzierak to the robberies, including cash that matched the serial numbers of bills stolen from the banks and an African-American full head mask and clothing that matched the description of the robber's. Zdzierak's vehicle also matches the description of one seen fleeing from the Forest Park robbery with red dye smoke coming from it.
