PRICE HILL, OH (FOX19) -- Cincinnati Fire crews say that a Saturday evening fire may have been arson.
A short time before 10:45 p.m., Cincinnati Fire crews received numerous calls concerning a fire at the 900 block of Elberon Ave.
When crews arrived, there was heavy fire showing from the second floor and attic of the vacant building. A second alarm was sounded shortly. Fire crews attempted to enter the building, but dire conditions made any attempts unsafe.
After an hour of fighting the blaze, crews were able to get into the building and check for people, but no one was inside the building.
No one was injured in the fire, but crews determined that the fire was intentionally set. Damage is estimated to be at $50,000.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
