Man arrested after chase in stolen vehicle

GREEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A Cincinnati man was arrested after a chase and crash in a stolen vehicle.

Police spotted the stolen vehicle in the 6200 block of Glenway Ave. and attempted to make a traffic stop. The driver fled from the deputy and reached speeds of approximately 85 miles per hour. The pursuit went on for about 3.5 miles before ending with a crash in the 1100 block of Panther Court.

There were two occupants in the stolen vehicle, who both fled on foot after the crash. Just after midnight, police located the driver, Joshua Banks, 19, of Cincinnati. He is charged with receiving stolen property, felony failure to comply, driving under suspension, window tint violation and condition when left unattended.

The passenger is still at large and is described as a black male last seen wearing dark clothing.

No one was injured as a result of the chase or crash.
