MASON, OH (FOX19) - AssureRx in Mason just moved in to their lab about two years ago, the personalized medicine company that runs test to help doctors prescribe drugs, only employs about 10 people right now, but they're growing fast.

"The second generation project and lab expansion will add about 30 employees to the company in the next 12 months," said Senior VIice President Donald Wright.
Wright credits their expansion to state funding they received through the Ohio Third Frontier Program, which gave them a $1 .2 million loan that they pay back over six years.
"Without the Frontier program we probably would not be able to be here right now in the state of Ohio," Wright said.
The program which targets hi-tech fields like bio-medicine and renewable energy, began in 2002 and expires in 2012 -- now the $700 million bond issue  on the ballot would renew the funds for four more years.
"And over the span of the first 8 years it's working, " said Joe Hinson of the West Chester Liberty Chamber Alliance
Hinson says  it's already brought nearly 600 start up companies to Ohio.
"This is great for exactly what we're looking for, in the I-75 growth corridor and especially here in West Chester and Liberty, the types of businesses that we would be attracting surely could use this type of funding source to be able to expand their operation or come from out of state too Ohio," Hinson said.
