2 injured in Boone County fight

FLORENCE, KY (FOX19) - Two people were injured after a fight in Boone County.

It happened just before 10 p.m. Monday night on Wysteria Village Drive, in the White Pines trailer park.

Police say the fight involved a group of 10 to 20 Hispanic and white teenagers.

Sean Switzer, 18, of Erlanger was stabbed in the chest after he, a 15-year-old Florence boy and others confronted a group of Hispanic teens and had a fight. The 15-year-old was beaten with a baseball bat but refused treatment.  Switzer was taken to University Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police say most of the combatants fled to nearby mobile home parks to avoid detection.  No arrests have been made in the assaults and investigators are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040 or the Boone County Sheriff's Department at (859) 334-2175.
