Baker Upset, Declines to Speak With Media

Posted by Brian Giesenschlag

Usually available to the media after every game, Reds manager Dusty Baker was not available after one of the ugliest losses of the season.

Reds Director of media relations, Rob Butcher informed reporters, who were then allowed into the clubhouse to interview players.

Shorstop Orlando Cabrera told FOX 19 that Baker is frustrated with the team's at bats and what he called a lack of focus.

The Reds have lost two straight games to the Padres.  On Saturday the Reds were shutout for the first time in 2010 and only managed four hits.  The game also included base running and mental errors.

The series with San Diego and the homestand wrap up on Sunday with Homer Bailey on the mound for the Reds.  The team is off on Monday before a road trip that takes them to Houston and St Louis.
