CINCINNATI(FOX19) - A Fort Knox soldier is on his way to Hamilton County after police say he beat a local homeless man.
Police say Riley Feller and three others beat John Johnson earlier this month. According to the Cincinnati Police the group hit Johnson repeatedly with a baseball bat and other objects. Johnson was asleep when the attack started.
Feller could be arraigned later today. He is in custody in Hardin County, Kentucky.
And police say they're working on warrants for two other soldiers stationed at Fort Bragg.
Johnson says, "that was real surprising to me as far as them being military because I thought military was supposed to protect us and not attack us when they're at home."
No word on what charges the soldiers will face. Michael Hesson of Norwood has already been arraigned on Felonious Assault and is free on bond.
