State trooper injured in Ohio Turnpike accident

WILLIAMS COUNTY (WTOL) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a state trooper was injured in an accident on the Ohio Turnpike Thursday morning.

Thomas Alexander was taken by LifeFlight to University of Toledo Medical Center. He has non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident involved the state patrol cruiser, a mini van and a FedEx semi.

The woman driving the mini van was taken to Montpelier Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident happened in Williams County at Mile Marker 13, which is just west of the Bryan-Montpelier exit.
