WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) - As students file into Lakota West Wednesday morning the future of their excellent education could be on the line.

"It's impossible for us to continue to do more and more with less and less," said School Board President Joan Powell.
"So we're very disappointed," said Lakota Superintendent Mike Taylor.
Taylor says the district has already reduced its operating budget by $11 million and cuts 70 positions, now he says anything exceeding state minimums is on the table.
"Your art your music, your athletics, your clubs, transportation," Taylor said
While administrators say the goal is to keep the cuts outside of the classroom, studentS will still feel the difference.
"Class size will probably go up to 28 to 29 students per classroom," Taylor said.
"We will need to go back on the ballot," Powell said.
Taylor says recommendations to the school board as to what programs will be cut and when could come in late June.
