MOUNT ORAB, OH (FOX19) - A Brown County Grand Jury has returned a nine-count indictment against a man accused of shooting at police.

John Pringle, 54, of Mount Orab, was indicted on two counts of attempted murder and two counts of felonious assault after police say he fired a shot gun at a Brown County Sheriff's Deputy and a Mt. Orab officer last month.

He also faces two vandalism charges for damage done to the officers' vehicles and felonious assault and domestic violence charges involving his wife. There is an additional charge of inducing panic, as well.

Pringle faces a maximum of 34 years in prison if convicted of all the charges. He is being held on a $100,000 bond, but that amount is expected to rise since additional charges were added by the grand jury.
