CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Two Cincinnati Police officers were hurt late Sunday afternoon during a chase in Over-The-Rhine.

Their police car went off the road when the Officer Carl Beebe tried to make a quick left turn from Elm Street onto McMicken Street, and the car went off the road and hit a utility pole.   Both he and his passenger, Officer Daniel Roellig, were taken to the hospital.  Beebe was reported to be in good condition,  while Officer Roellig was treated and released.

The man they were chasing has not been caught.   He was driving a white 2001 Acura TL 3.2, the Acura equivalent of a Honda Accord.

Both officers were wearing seatbelts.  Officer Roellig was removed from the car by the Cincinnati Fire Department.  Police did not say why the officers were chasing the car.  They don't have a description of the suspect.
