HEBRON, KY (FOX19) - A Hebron woman has been indicted for the murder of her infant daughter.

Laura Senseman, 35, turned herself in to police Wednesday morning after learning she had been indicted Tuesday for the murder of her 2-month-old daughter.

The baby's father, Benjamin Senseman, was charged in July 2009 with murder. That case is still pending.

Investigators believe the child died from head trauma. Police said Laura Senseman was at work when the incident happened, but investigators believe the special prosecutor working the case opted to charge the mother after the autopsy revealed the child had sustained serious injuries up to two weeks prior to the fatal injuries inflicted on July 12, 2009.

Laura Senseman was taken to the Boone County Detention Center, but is out on bond.
