Police look for robbery suspect at Downtown Credit Union

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -- Police are searching for a suspect involved in a robbery at a local credit union Wednesday afternoon.

A short time before 1:00pm, Police were called to the Aur Group Credit Union located at the 100 block of 4th Street for a report of a robbery.

Officials say the suspect entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. Within minutes of the alarm sounding and police arriving on the scene, the suspect had already fled the scene with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid 20s. He stands at 6 feet tall and weighs between 170-180 pounds. He has a thin build and a short afro hairstyle. The suspect was wearing blue jeans and a white jacket wit the letter "R" on the front breast pocket and a larger "R" on the back. he was carrying a silver shopping bag and a white paper bag.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
