CLERMONT COUNTY (FOX 19) -- Rt. 125 or Ohio Pike is down to one lane many days and the access to stores like Amelia Florist and The Pill Box is limited. That is because of a construction project to replace the storm water drains and resurface the roadway.
Robert Westbrook runs The Pill Box. He says they've pulled out all the stops to keep customers coming in, from delivering prescriptions to offering discounts on merchandise, but business still suffers.
"Its cut our customer count probably around 30 percent," Westbrook says.
And it will get worse before it gets better. Most of the work is focused near the intersection of Rt. 125 and Amelia-Olive Branch Road. Amelia-Olive Branch will be closed at that intersection from May 24 to June 19.
All of the construction should be wrapped up by July.
