Police look for owners of horses found in Warren Co.

Posted by Trina Edwards - email

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Police are looking for the owner of two horses found last month in Warren County.

The two horses were found April 12 on U.S. 22/3 and Clarksville Road in Washington Township. They were in good health and deputies believed they had broken out of pasture or corral.

At this point, the horses' owner has not come forward.

One horse is described as an unknown breed sorrel riding horse gelding approximately 1 to 2 years old and the other is a red and white mini-horse mare approximately 2 to 3 years old.

The horses are being boarded at a Warren County farm at a taxpayer's expense.

Anyone with information on a possible owner for the horses should call the Warren County Sheriff's Office at 513-695-1280.
