CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - More charges have been filed against a pregnant mother who is now accused of nearly a dozen burglaries in the Cleves and Harrison area.

Samantha Brewer, 26, of Cleves, was charged last week with four counts of burglary and four counts of attempted burglary. She was also charged with child endangering for bringing her children along on the crimes.

Over the weekend, Brewer was charged with three more counts of burglary and two more counts of child endangering.

According to court documents, Brewer entered a residence on Morgan Road in Cleves and removed various jewelry totaling $519. After removing the items, she left the home but then thought she had left her purse inside. According to court documents, Brewer had her 5-year-old son re-enter the residence through a window to unlock a door so she could go back inside and get her purse.

She is also accused of entering a home with her son on West Road in Cleves, but she was caught by the homeowner's granddaughter. The granddaughter asked Brewer why she was in the home, and Brewer said her name was "Sarah and she was looking for the baby bed." She later told police in a written confession that she made up the story about the baby bed and left. The granddaughter told police that Brewer left in a blue SUV, and it was later determined that Brewer does own a blue SUV.

In a third offense, police say Brewer stole $4,200-worth of jewelry from a residence on Harrison Ave. She told police she entered through an open garage door.

Brewer was arraigned on the new charges Monday morning, but she did not appear in court because had to go to the hospital. Court officials would not say if she went to the hospital to have her baby.
