COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - Raymond Jackson was back in a Kenton County courtroom Wednesday morning for a motion hearing. The judge ordered Jackson to stay away from the little girl he's accused of getting drunk.
A Kenton County man is in jail after police say he got his 2-year-old stepdaughter drunk.
The child was rushed to St. Elizabeth Hospital over the weekend, where police say her blood-alcohol level was measured at 0.25. That is over three times the legal limit for an adult in Kentucky. Her condition was so serious that she was taken to Cincinnati Children's Hospital for treatment.
Raymond Jackson, 23, is charged with criminal abuse of a child. Erlanger Police say he gave the little girl gin combined with iced tea and encouraged her to drink it. The incident happened at the family's home on Woodhill Court in Crescent Springs, Ky.
Jackson was taken to the Kenton County Detention Center and is being held on a $10,000 bond.
The child was released from Children's Hospital Tuesday morning.
