LEBANON, OH (FOX19) - Lebanon Police are investigating the alleged abduction of a 21-year-old woman.
The woman told police she was taking out her trash early Monday morning when at least two suspects grabbed her, put her in an unknown vehicle, and took her to a wooded area, where she was sexually assaulted.
The victim's family reported her missing just before 3 p.m. Monday afternoon.
Around 10 p.m., Lebanon police were dispatched to the yard of the victim's home on Franklin Road near Norman Lane, where she was found, bound and gagged. Neighbors say medics stayed for about 15 or 20 minutes and left without a siren.
"Not a lot of commotion, lights bigger than flashlight and a person laying on the corner of the house," said Jim Ashby, who lives a few doors down.
The woman told police she was able to find her way home from the wooded area, but was not able to tell police where she was allegedly assaulted.
"She is reporting made her way out of the woods and ended up on the front yard," said Sgt. Jeff Miller.
The woman was transported to The Atrium in Middletown for treatment. She is unable to provide a description of the suspects or the vehicle.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information should call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
