LINCOLN HEIGHTS, OH (FOX19) - A Lincoln Heights man faces several charges after he led police on a foot chase.
Lorrell Shepard, 27, was wanted by police and was spotted by Lincoln Heights officers on Monday evening. Shepard ran from police even though officers told him not to. During the chase, Shepard threw a gun over a fence in a wooded area.
Officers tased Shepard when they caught up with him. He was transported to UC Hospital, then to the Hamilton County Justice Center. Police also found a large bag of a green leafy substance in his pocket.
Shepard is charged with having weapons under disability, tampering with evidence, obstructing official business, drug possession and carrying a concealed weapon. In addition, he had open warrants, including a felony warrant for drug possession.
