CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Notre Dame Academy will hold commencement  ceremony for the graduating class of 2010.

Seniors will honor 17-year old Maria Schaffstein who died in a car accident involving eight students in Huntsville Alabama.  Students normally carry six red flowers during the ceremony but will replace one of the red with a white flower.

18-year old Jessie Russo is the only other student from the crash not graduating but will be able to watch the ceremony on  the Notre Dame Academy website.  Police say Russo received head injuries from the accident and is still recovering.

The ceremony will take place at Northern Kentucky Convention center Friday and start at 7:00 p.m.
