HEBRON, KY (FOX19) - Boone County deputies are looking for a suspect who robbed a bank in Hebron Friday morning.

It happened at the Fifth Third on North Bend Road around 9:45 a.m.

The robber is described by bank employees as a white male, early 20's, small build (around 5'8"), thin frame and wearing a burgundy hoodie, black pants, sunglasses, and a green bandana over his face. He was last seen running from the bank into a wooded area.

Police say the robber did brandish a handgun.

First responding deputies quickly set up a perimeter as a canine was called in for a search which ended with a cold track. Meanwhile, investigators converged on the bank in an effort to collect any physical evidence including surveillance video/photos.
