Saturday Morning News Update - The week in review

Good Saturday Morning and Memorial Weekend –

Don't forget our 19 Mugshot Roundup this morning.  It is a quick look at the highlights and lowlights that made Cincinnati headlines this week.  We have a good time putting these together each week.

Looking to celebrate Memorial Day?  Here is a list from the Kentucky Department of Veteran Affairs of events this weekend.  And check the homepage as we will be posting more as the weekend arrives.

Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones traveled to Arizona to see the effects of their new law and one he and Rep Courtney Combs are pushing to pass in Ohio.  Dan Wells was with Sheriff Jones on the Mexican border and filed two reportsPlus we have the pictures that Dan took while he was there.   And while Dan was at the border   President Obama announced he is sending troops to the area to help with security.

A step-dad is accused of getting his 2-year-old step son old drunk.  Hamilton County Coroner Odell Owens had something to say about that.

American Idol wrapped up this week.  Lee DeWyze was crowned this years' champ.

An escaped Mountain Lion may be roaming Brown County.  Several sightings occurred this week.

The Reds started the week ½ game in first place – then they were back ½ game, then  they were tied for first and then up a game.  It's a roller coaster of a ride and I don't think we will have any idea where we are going to end up till about the All-Star game.  But bad news last Sunday, Homer Bailey is now on the DL with a sore shoulder.

Friday, police made raids in six different locations confiscating what they are calling a significant amount of marijuana.
