LEBANON, OH (FOX19) -- The jury in the Ryan Widmer murder retrial will return for deliberations on Tuesday after telling the courts that they are at an impasse.

After three days of deliberation, the jury alerted the court that hey were split in their decision. It is not known how the jurors were split.

Judge Bronson, then called everyone back into the courtroom to go back on the record. Judge Bronson then gave the jurors further instructions and sent them back into the jury room for more deliberations.

The jury continued to deliberate nearly four hours before being dismissed for the holiday weekend.

The jury will return on Tuesday to make their decision.

Ryan Widmer is accused of killing his wife, Sarah back in August of 2008. In the first trial he was found guilty, but that decision was tossed out because of juror misconduct.
