Ohio man beaten outside of Louisville restaurant dies from injuries

LOUISVILLE, KY (FOX19) -  An Ohio man has died from injuries he received in a fight early May 30 outside Barbara Lee's Kitchen in Louisville.

According to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, 26-year-old Bryan Stevenson of Maumee, OH, a suburb of Toledo, died at 2:30 p.m. at the University of Louisville Hospital. Stevenson was a 2001 graduate of Scott High School in Kenton County.

Ryan Hayes, also at the restaurant at the time, was also beaten during the fight. He was taken to University Hospital with facial lacerations.

The fight reportedly started in the restaurant and spilled out in the street.

Four men have been arrested in connection with the fight by Louisville Metro Police. 30-year-old Donald Hays, 28-year-old David Pryor, 21-year-old Justin Werner and 23-year-old William Schindler are all charged with murder and assault.

The four suspects were arraigned on May 31. Hays is being held on a $250,000 full cash bond; Pryor, Werner and Schindler are being held on a $100,000 full cash bond each. All are due back in court on June 9.
