LEBANON, OH (FOX19) - After four days of deliberation, the jury in the retrial of Ryan Widmer came back hung Tuesday, forcing Judge Bronson to declare the trial a mistrial.
Judge Bronson then dismissed the jury and prepared for the next step.
Attorneys are still under a gag order, but speculation is that the defense will most likely file for dismissal of the charges against Ryan Widmer.
Ryan Widmer was on trial for the murder of his wife Sarah back in 2008. Widmer was found guilty in the first trial but that case was thrown out because of jury misconduct.
FOX19 will bring you the latest information on the case as it becomes available.
