COVINGTON, KY (FOX 19) -- A father arrested after police say he got his two year-old step-daughter drunk is in court Tuesday.
New details about 23 year-old Raymond Jackson surface at a preliminary hearing.
Prosecutors say Jackson was convicted of abusing the same toddler in North Carolina.
He was discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps at that time.
Tuesday a judge found probable cause to send this new case to the grand jury.
Investigators say Jackson gave the little girl gin combined with iced tea last month.
She was rushed to the hospital with a blood alcohol level of .25, which is more than three times the legal limit for an adult to drive.
Jackson remains in the Kenton county jail.
