GOSHEN, OH (FOX19) - An 18-year-old driver is facing OVI charges this morning after an overnight accident sent him to the hospital.

Police say that James Hatfield, Jr was driving Northbound in the 6000 block of Ohio 48 when he went off the right side of the road, over-corrected, struck a ditch and then ran into a home.

Hatfield was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Two other passengers in the vehicle were not injured.  They were 18-year-old Brandon Alexander and Charlie Brooks, also 18.

All three were students at Goshen High School.  Yesterday was the last day of school for students and graduation is tonight.  Goshen Schools superintendent says that this accident will not stop the students from walking if injuries allow.

Hatfield is also facing other charges including driving under suspension, failure to control, and failure to wear a seatbelt.
