BETHEL, OH (FOX19) - A court date is set for Timothy Hoskins.

The Bethel man was arrested on child endangerment charges in the death of his two year old step-son Jerry Wells.

Wells died Tuesday afternoon.

The medical examiner has not released a cause of death.

Hoskins and his wife Krystle first told police Wells got hurt by falling down the stairs.

Then Krystle changed her story and says she came home and found her toddler eyes open unresponsive on the bathroom floor.

Timothy Hoskins has a preliminary hearing June 9th.  He is currently being held on a 1 million dollar bond.

Krystle Hoskins has not been charged.
