Early morning fire in Bond Hill

BOND HILL, OH (FOX19) -- Four people had to be rescued from a home fire early Sunday morning.

Around 4:00am, Cincinnati fFire crews were called to the 1800 block of Dalewood Avenue for a report of a fire.

When crews arrived, the two-story house was in flames with one person trapped on the roof. Officials say that three people jumped from the second story before fire crews arrived to the scene. They had only minor injuries. Fire crews were able to rescue the person on the roof and put out the fire which started in the kitchen.

Damage is estimated to be at $10,000 . The cause of the fire was caused by food on the stove. Three people were transported to area hospitals. Red Cross is currently assisting the family.
