HEBRON, KY (FOX19) - The Boone County Sheriff's Department has arrested a Burlington man for a robbing a Hebron bank over a week ago.

Aaron Herzog, 30, was arrested Sunday evening and charged with robbery, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police say Herzog robbed the Fifth Third Bank on North Bend Road on May 28. Later that day, police say four people exchanged the stolen money at Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg.

On Thursday, police say Herzog and his girlfriend, Cassandra Koenig, 29, also of Burlington, went back to the casino to launder more of the red dyed money and left without incident. Later though, after discovering a gambling device with dyed currency in it, agents with the Indiana Gaming Commission backtracked the couple via surveillance video and were able to identify them.

No charges have been levied against Koenig at this point. Investigators are still looking for the other two men depicted in the original surveillance video at the casino.
