EVANSTON, OH (FOX19) - Crews are undergoing a huge clean up project on the campus of Xavier University.
A hot water pipe burst overnight, spraying water all over the Williams College of Business. The building is still under construction, and the staff had been scheduled to move into it later this month.
A Xavier spokesperson says the school is not treating the leak as a disaster, and it's not likely that it will affect the start of the school year.
"The people are scheduled to start moving into this building on June 29, so the bulk of them still will, but there may be some delays for offices that have slightly more damage," said Laura Bauer, a Xavier spokeswoman.
The water was flowing for about an hour, so several ceiling tiles, pieces of dry wall and carpet will have to be replaced.
