SOUTH LEBANON, OH (FOX19) - Police in Warren County are asking for the public's help in finding a rape suspect.

A woman says she heard a knock on her door on Sunset Drive around 4 a.m. Sunday. When she opened it, a man entered her home and raped her. The suspect is described as a slender white man in his early 30's, about 6'1" and wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and scruffy facial hair.

"We're not going to get into the details of exactly what happened, but he was able to make entry into the residence and the offense happened," said Sgt. Brandon Lacy with the Warren County Sheriff's Office.

Robert Coffman, who lives near the victim, says he grew up on Sunset Drive, and is now raising his two children on the street.

"I never thought it'd happen around here," he said.

Coffman says it's a place where neighbors know each other, but this time, a stranger slipped in.

Deputies are asking everyone to think back for any clues that could help them catch this guy.

"That's what we're asking for. Anybody in south Lebanon that may have any idea or seen anybody out walking that evening that may match this guy's description, we'd like to hear," said Lacy.

"We see people walk up and down here all the time and there's houses on up here that people move in and out of, on this next street up here," said Lucille Race, another neighbor.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040 or the Warren County Sheriff's Office at 513-695-1280.
