WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) - An elderly man has been cited after a Memorial Day crash that injured six people.

Everett Cole, 84, was cited for failure to control. West Chester Police made the determination after an investigation that included reconstruction of the crash.

The West Chester Police Department has filed paperwork with the Bureau of Motor Vehicles that will require Cole to obtain a drivers license re-examination.

The crash happened during a Memorial Day parade in West Chester. Investigators say Cole backed into another car, and that vehicle kept going, striking five pedestrians at the intersection of Cresthaven and Cincinnati Dayton Road.
