She is due in court in Kenton County on the trafficking charges on Thursday.
FLORENCE, KY (FOX19) - Agents with the Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force have arrested a Florence woman in connection with the discovery of a meth lab.
Susan Cox, 42, is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance.
Drug agents responded to the 1700 block of Promontory Drive in the Oakbrook neighborhood Thursday evening after a complaint of suspicious activity. After conducting surveillance at the home, agents followed Cox to an address in Elsmere, where she was arrested. She was taken to the Kenton County Detention Center.
Agents obtained a search warrant for the home on Promontory Drive, and found materials and evidence in the home that indicated that methamphetamine was manufactured there. The investigation showed that there were two children residing in the home, but they were not present at the time the search warrant was executed. The Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services was notified.
Cox faces additional charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine in Boone County.
