Heavy rains causing problems in the Tri-state

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -- Hamilton County residents are cleaning up this Sunday after yesterdays rainfall.

In Butler County Saturday, deputies were called after several complaints of impassable roads and flooded ditches along US 126 in Ross and Morgan Township. The Marine Patrol/ Swift Water Rescue Team also responded to these areas to help those dealing with flooding.

Cincinnati-Brookville Road was closed in Shandon by the Butler County Sheriff's Office as high water stretched over the pavement.

In Groesbeck, neighbors are dealing with flooding to their homes and basements on Blanchetta Drive. One woman had to be rescued by fire crews and bystanders as her vehicle got stuck in high water.

Another round of storms moved thru the area last night with rain and wind.  At one point nearly 11, 000 Duke Energy's customers were without power.
