LEBANON, OH (FOX19) - Police have filed charges against a Warren County woman who claimed she was abducted and sexually assaulted.
Kristen Lamb, 21, told police that she was taking out the trash on May 24 when she was abducted and taken to a wooded area and sexually assaulted. She was found passed out in her front yard later that night.
After a police interview, Lamb admitted the incident did not happen. She told police that she had too much stress in her life and left her home day with the intent to fake her disappearance. She took a small pillow case, blue bandana and four zip ties as props. The woman showed detectives where she walked into the woods and hid until she returned home where she was discovered in the front yard.
She is now charged with inducing panic and making false alarm, both misdemeanors.
She will be in Lebanon Municipal Court on Monday.
