SWITZERLAND COUNTY, IN (FOX19) - An Indiana woman is facing numerous felony charges after an investigation by Indiana State Police.
Earlier this year, the Indiana State Board of Accounts was notified of various discrepancies in the East Enterprise Regional Sewer Board account and conducted an audit.
It was discovered that from January 22, 2009 until July 24, 2009, a total of 36 check amounting to over $27,000 had been written by former board member and bookkeeper Crystal Elam Hollen and used for personal debt.
The Indiana State Police was notified and Hollen, 39, of East Enterprise, was arrested without incident and charged with 36 counts of theft and 36 counts of forgery. She was taken to the Switzerland County jail.
