Child, teen targeted in home invasion

COLLEGE HILL, OH (FOX19) - Police are investigating a home invasion where a teenage girl and a young boy were targeted.

Police say at least two suspects broke into a home on Sunridge in College Hill around 2:30 a.m. The 16-year-old girl and her 9-year-old godbrother were the only two home at the time.

The teen, Conisha Davis, says the robbers seemed mad at her father.

"I didn't know what was going to happen, I just tried to think positive, because I didn't know what was going to happen, " she says. "They came through this window. I was in my room, and they came through the window. "

Police say the robbers grabbed knives from the kitchen to help them in the robbery, then stole TV's and other electronics from the home.

The teen and the boy were not hurt. Davis says it's the second time the home has been invaded in a year.

"As long as she's ok, they Tv's they got, they can have it," says her father Daniel Davis. He owns D and D Light Hauling.

Police K-9 units were called to the scene to find the suspects, but couldn't. Police are not giving a description of the suspects at this time. Anyone with information should call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
