CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Price Hill woman has admitted to stealing the identity of a New Jersey woman three years ago.

Maydi Perez DeLeon, 25, is charged with one count of forgery and one count of taking the ID of another. She was booked in the Hamilton County Jail on Wednesday.

According to court documents, DeLeon purchased person information on the victim, including her date of birth and social security number, for $150. DeLeon allegedly wanted the information to get a job at Taricell Management, a temp service in Springdale.

While posing as the victim, police say DeLeon earned $4,523. Police say she signed the victim's signature on several documents, including a 2008 tax form.

When confronted by police, DeLeon confessed her real name an date of birth.
