BELLEVUE, KY (FOX19) - Police have arrested a man who is accused of at least two bank robberies in the area.
The Fifth Third Bank on Donnermeyer Drive in Bellevue was robbed around 6 p.m. Wednesday evening. The suspect threatening the teller with a bag and claimed he had a bomb. He left with an undetermined amount of cash. No one was injured.
The suspect was later caught at the Interstate Motel on McMicken Street in Cincinnati. He told police he was also responsible for a bank robbery in Highland Heights on Monday, June 21.
Nicholas Martin, 27, has been charged with 1st degree robbery and was taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center to await extradition back to Kentucky. Also arrested was his girlfriend, Christina Herald, 25. She was arrested by Cincinnati Police on a charge related to drug paraphernalia. She was also taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center.
