The Cincinnati Reds gave the clearest indication to date of how the team plans to use LHP Aroldis Chapman, and when the defector from Cuba should expect a call-up to the Major Leagues.
Chapman pitched out of the bullpen with the AAA Louisville Bats on Wednesday and Reds GM Walt Jocketty said it's pretty much a done deal that Chapman will work in relief for the Reds at some point before the end of the season. The Reds plan to see how Chapman fares with the Louisville relief corps over the next three weeks.
