CINCINNATI (FOX19)- A Cincinnati wakeboarding team has set the Guinness World Record for the greatest distance traveled on a wakeboard in 24 hours straight.
The Wake Nation Cincinnati Team started at noon on Friday and finished at noon on Saturday. They traveled 506.8 miles by doing 1,448 labs around Wake Nation's 10-acre lake.
The team consists of 10 members.
The final lap was completed by Tony Finn, the co-founder of Liquid Force, a wakeboarding equipment and apparel company.
The person completing the most laps was Neill Barker who completed 242 laps.
Donations and pledges from the event benefited MedLend, a non-profit organization that provides medical missions to impoverished countries around the globe.
