CINCINNATI (AP) - The Reds made a move to improve their bullpen,
calling up left-hander Bill Bray before the final game of a series
against the Cleveland Indians on Sunday.
Right-handed starter Sam LeCure was optioned to Triple-A
Louisville. The rookie started on Saturday night but didn't get the
decision in a 6-4 victory.
Bray had reconstructive elbow surgery on May 19, 2009. He made
six scoreless appearances at Louisville this season covering 5 2-3
innings. The Reds got Bray from Washington in 2006 as part of the
deal that sent outfielder Austin Kearns to the Nationals.
