HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - Butler County Sheriff's Deputies say 17-year-old Nicholas Reynolds is suspected of stealing property around the same time he was arrested for drinking and driving, leading police on a high speed chase Saturday morning.
"We're actually investigating Nicholas Reynolds for the possible theft of a four wheeler at the same time frame that all this took place so, it's obvious that being introduced to the court system and something as serious as this alpaca case, has not taught him a lesson," said Lt. Craft of the Butler County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say the four wheeler was recovered after Reynolds was taken in to custody, when police say he was driving while intoxicated with two passengers, including 23-year-old Stacie Mullins -- the two are both suspects in pending cases involving the beating death of baby alpaca, Reynolds is being tried as an adult.
"The alpaca case was very disturbing to Sheriff Jones and all of us here at the sheriff's office and you would certainly hope that kids this young would have learned a lesson from all this, and now they're out engaged in this kind of activity again," Craft said.
