COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips was in a Kenton County courtroom on Tuesday morning.
Phillips pled guilty to a reckless driving charge after he was caught going 72 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone over the weekend in Park Hills.
He will have to participate in a traffic school.
Phillips said he was trying to get home quickly after the Reds game on Saturday because he had family in town to celebrate his birthday. His mother was in the car with him.
