BATAVIA (FOX 19) -- A Bethel father behind bars in connection with the death of his toddler stepson has a deadline set to plea or go to trial.
42 year-old Timothy Hoskins is charged with five counts of endangering children.
He remains in jail on a million dollars bond and his next court appearance is July 29.
Hoskins stepson, two year-old Jerry Wells, died June 1 after an injury suffered at their Bethel apartment while in Hoskins care.
His wife, Krystle Hoskins, will be in court Thursday also on child endangering charges.
