COLERAIN, OH (FOX19) - Officers have raided a buy-sell-trade shop in Colerain Township.
The Ohio Trade Company on Colerain Avenue was raided Thursday after a two month investigation with the Colerain Police Department and the DEA.
Police say several stolen items from homes in the area, and also from Home Depot, began showing up at the shop. The items ranged from generators to electronic equipment.
The owner, Tyler Young, and one employee, Joe Kist, have been arrested on several counts of receiving stolen property. Investigators also raided Young's home in Mason, looking for documents and property.
Authorities tell us property was removed from the home and police will run serial number checks to see who that belongs to as well.
Police say they are working to inventory the stolen items, and when they are finished, they will post pictures and information to a web site.
Young and Kist are in the Justice Center awaiting arraignment.
