CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Cherry Grove man is behind bars after police say he called them saying he was shot, but was actually just very drunk.
Eulalio Gonzales, 23, is facing one count of inducing panic and one count of disorderly conduct.
According to court documents, Gonzales called police on Monday saying he was shot and needed assistance. Officers responded with five police cruisers, plus fire trucks, and shut down the corner of Court and Main Streets in downtown Cincinnati.
However, when officers arrived, they found Gonzales to be "very intoxicated" and he told them through a translator that he had been drinking since early in the afternoon.
Gonzales appeared in court Tuesday afternoon and had his bond set at $1,500. He will be back in court July 27.
