CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones today named Nick Brunker Director of Public Relations/Broadcasting. The Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate for the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators.
A lifelong Cincinnati resident, Brunker graduated from Sycamore High School where he rounded out a ten year hockey career. He attended Miami University and graduated in 2006 with a B.A. in Mass Communications. While a student at Miami, he called games for the RedHawks hockey team for four years. He also served as broadcaster for the now defunct Toledo Storm hockey team for the 2006-07 season.
In addition, Brunker has called college football, college basketball, arena football and for the Reds' affiliate single A Dragons baseball team. Brunker most recently worked as a sports radio host at Clear Channel radio.
